Physicians:
Merchants:
Merchants would trade items with nearby countries. That is how Egypt was a wealthy and powerful country. Merchants would travel with boats on the Nile River. For example if the wheat harvested exceeded the needs of the kingdom merchants would export the wheat to neighboring kingdoms. Merchants would trade the wheat for money. This process made the country more powerful and stronger. Merchants were also in charge of Egypt's trade networks and exports and imports. Egyptian merchants would trade Egyptian wheat and linen for Nubian gold. Merchants like physicians were middle class people.
